JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - A 22-year-old beating and robbery victim is now facing child pornography charges.
Last month, police say Adam Noisette was brutally beaten during a robbery outside of his James Island home.
Noisette said he was walking home when he was followed by two men, asking him for money.
When he didn't have any, they attacked him.
During the investigation, Charleston County deputies say they found sexually explicit photos on Noisette's phone of girls between the ages of 10 and 16.
He was arrested last week, but the State Attorney General's office just announced it on Friday.
Noisette is charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor in the third degree.
The sheriff's office says there is no connection between the beating and the images.
Noisette could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
