NEAR DONETSK, UKRAINE (CBS) - Ukrainian forces patrolled the eastern city of Vuhlehirsk on Thursday after regaining control of it from pro-Russia separatists earlier this week.

Video released by the Ukraine Defense Ministry purports to show Ukrainian army vehicles and soldiers driving around the city.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko wrote on his Facebook account on Monday that the military had driven the pro-Russia militia out.

Meanwhile in Kiev, defense ministry spokesperson Andriy Lysenko said on Friday that the government sent dozens of trucks filled with humanitarian relief supplies to eastern Ukraine.

Lysenko said he held Moscow responsible for any incidents caused by separatists during the government's humanitarian mission.
