CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston Police made two arrests in connection with a pair of burglaries in the West Ashley area between Aug. 4 and Aug. 7.
Romel Chaplin, 27, faces two counts of burglary second degree and two counts of financial transaction card fraud in connection with a burglary on Jobee Drive and a second burglary on Parkwood Estates Drive.
Police charged Katherine Eve Holliday, 25, with one count of second degree burglary in reference to the Parkwood Estates Drive incident.
Police say the stolen items include a laptop, an iPhone, jewelry and two pocket knives.
Chaplin and Holliday were being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
