CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A donation to MUSC Children's Hospital will allow the facility's young patients to relax and learn with technology.

The hospital received four new iPads designed to help keep children entertained and informed. A special protective case helps keep germs from spreading from patient to patient.

The devices can be used to help educate children about the illnesses they are fighting and ease anxiety. They can also be used to play games, complete homework and send messages to friends during long hospital stays, the hospital said.
