Pinewood Prep 46  First Baptist 0 - The Panthers break a 19 game losing streak with their season opening win. Leslie Redden ran for 146 yards and 2 TD's while Ryan Hueit had 3 interceptions. First Baptist falls to 0-1 in their return to 11-man after a year in 8-man. 


Thursday

(Sertoma Classic)

Porter-Gaud 15  Lincoln 0 - Kris Johnson scored a TD on the ground and Jeremy Hunt added a TD and helped on a safety as the Cyclones shutout the Yellow Jackets. 

Cane Bay 13  Baptist Hill 6 - Kris Copeland scored 2 TD's, one on the ground and one through the air to lead the Cobras to a win over the Bobcats.

Hanahan 0  Summerville 0

Timberland 13  Stratford 9  F/2 quarters - Ryan Hood threw 2 late touchdown passes to help the Wolves make up a 9-0 deficit. 

St. John's 6  James Island 0 - Taiwan Green blocked a punt for the Islanders and followed it up 2 plays later with a 21 yard TD to give St. John's the upset win. 

Goose Creek 27  West Ashley 8  F/2 quarters - Robert Matthews scored 2 TD's and Ty'rik Johnson added another on the ground as the Gators picked up a win in the night's finale. 


Friday

Ashley Ridge 21  Woodland 6 - Tyler Garland rushed for a 72 yard TD to help the Swamp Foxes go to 1-0 on the season. 

James Island 29  Hanahan 27

Cane Bay 28  Colleton Co. 27 - The Cobras snap a 12 game losing streak with their first win since 2012. Keenan Simpson rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown for Cane Bay. Tyquan David had 248 yards rushing and 2 TD's for the Cougars. 

Berkeley 42  Johnsonville 27 - DJ Whitherspoon and Leon Simmons each rushed for 2 TD's to lead the Stags to a 1-0 start. 

Ft. Dorchester 34  South Florence 13

Summerville 31 Providence (Charlotte, NC) 9 - Sawyer Bridges scored 3 TD's (2 rushing, 1 in the air) as the Green Wave earned a road win in North Carolina. Darrell Ford also returned a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown for Summerville.

R.E. Lee Academy 23 Dorchester Academy 0 

Estill 38  Porter-Gaud 29 - Kris Johnson had 219 yards of total offense for the Cyclones in the loss.

Stall 8  Academic Magnet 0 - Ricky Peterson caught the lone TD of the game to help Stall to the win. 

Garrett 7  Palmetto Christian 0 - Jamie Cooper scored on a 10 yard TD run to give the Eagles the victory. 

First Baptist 12  Burke 6 - Michael Dukes scored 2 TD's for the Hurricanes in the win. Xavier Holley reached the end zone for the Bulldogs. 

Pinewood Prep 20  North Charleston 6 - Ryan Huiet, coming off a 3 interception night in the Panthers season opener on Tuesday, picked off another pass that led to a scoring a drive for Pinewood. 

Northwood 29  Military Magnet 16 - Trevor McNeil scored 2 TD's leading the Chargers to the win. Michael Richardson had 2 rushing TD's for Military Magnet. 

Wando 35 Bishop England 0 - Kevin Brown had 2 rushing TD's for the Warriors and Bailey Hart threw for over 130 yards in Wando's victory. 


Saturday

Garrett 50  Burke 34 - Jamie Cooper had 195 yards rushing and Nathaniel Ancrum added 2 rushing TD's in the Falcons win.
