SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Myrtle Beach police are in the Charleston area asking for the public's help in solving the shooting deaths of three Summerville people who were killed last Memorial Day weekend during the Atlantic Beach Bikefest.
A fourth person was also injured in the shooting that resulted from a large fight outside a motel in Myrtle Beach.
Detectives said there is no information to indicate that the murders were gang related.
According to Myrtle Beach police, information they've recently discovered shows that people in the Charleston area may have information about the murders.
Investigators say dozens have been interviewed about the case, and are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111.
There was a rash of violence in communities near Atlantic Beach during this year's bike festival.
The violence and the negative publicity that followed prompted Gov. Nikki Haley to call for an end to the annual Bikefest.
