Oklahoma truck accident kills Summerville man, injures wife

COMANCHE COUNTY, Okla. (WCSC) -

Oklahoma authorities say a 47-year-old Summerville man was killed, and his wife in critical condition, after a pickup truck he was driving crashed into another truck that failed to stop on a highway in Oklahoma this past weekend.

Officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say William E. Crubaugh Jr. of Summerville died from his injuries at the hospital following an accident Saturday morning.

Crubaugh's 47-year-old wife, Barbara Crubaugh, was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

OHP authorities say Crubaugh was driving on Highway 62 at 11:14 a.m., when he struck a pickup truck that failed to stop at a stop sign on Indiahoma Road.

According to a highway patrol report, a passenger in the other pickup truck suffered head and leg injuries and was transported to the hospital.
