CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Gas prices are down nationally about 15 cents from the holiday weekend a year ago.
In South Carolina, the average price has dropped to $3.16 a gallon.
If you need to fill your tank, we've rounded up some of the cheapest gas across the Lowcountry.
In North Charleston, gas is just $3.03 a gallon at the Sunoco on West Montague Avenue at Fargo Street.
In Summerville, you can fill up for $3.09 a gallon at the BP on Central Avenue.
And in Mount Pleasant, the cheapest gas we found is at the Exxon on Bowman Road near Chuck Dawley Boulevard; You'll pay $3.11 a gallon.
