Police arrest North Charleston man in downtown burglary

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A North Charleston man was arrested in a Sept. 13 burglary of a Jasper Street home in downtown Charleston, police say.

Christopher Taylor Potts, 24, is charged with first degree burglary and grand larceny, according to Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis.

Police say the suspect entered the home through the front door and stole electronic equipment, video games and two Fender guitars.

All of the stolen items have been recovered, Francis said.

Potts was being held in the Al Cannon Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing.
