Charleston police release sketch of W. Ashley armed robbery suspect

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Investigators with the Charleston Police Department have released a sketch of a suspect wanted for an armed robbery in West Ashley.

Authorities say the robbery happened on Sept. 20 around 3 a.m. at 404 Royal Palm Blvd.

Police say the suspect, who was armed with a black semi-automatic pistol, took the victim's iPhone, Samsung work phone and cash.

CPD officials describe the suspect as a black male with a round clean shaven face, almond eyes, between 5'7" and 5'8" tall and wearing black pants and a black T-shirt over his mouth.

According to investigators, the suspect was armed with a black semi-auto pistol with a gray slide.
