CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Doctors and scientists at the Medical University of South Carolina are holding a panel discussion on the Ebola outbreak in West Africa and the challenges in trying to contain it.
The session on Thursday at the Charleston school includes a screening of a PBS documentary on the situation.
The panel discussion with four experts focuses not only on the challenge of containing the disease, but also on mental health issues faced by patients and health care workers dealing with the disease as well as challenges in communicating with the public about the Ebola outbreak.
