Dorchester County residents can catch a peek of the Highway 165 expansion project during a Thursday night meeting.
County leaders are scheduled to attend tonight's 6:30 meeting at Ashley Ridge High School to explain to the public plans to expand Highway 165.
The project will widen a two mile stretch from Carolina Avenue to Ashley Ridge High School from two lanes to five. Bike lanes and a multi-use pathway will also be added.
Dorchester County officials say the work is set to begin in December and will be completed by December 2015.
