Report: Fugitive arrested after falling through roof of Ladson home

LADSON, SC (WCSC) -

The Charleston County Sheriff's Office says a fugitive was apprehended after he fell through the roof of a home in Ladson.

Investigators arrested 22-year-old Broddrek Latrey Cobb of Ladson who was wanted for a warrant on criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.

On Thursday afternoon, deputies received information that Cobb was in the attic of a home on Midview Drive.

When deputies called out for Cobb, investigators say Cobb fell through the roof of the home and fled on foot into a nearby wooded area.

A K-9 then located and apprehended Cobb. EMS transported Cobb to the hospital for a K-9 bite.

The sheriff's office says Cobb was wanted for an incident that happened at the same home on Sept. 5 when he assaulted a pregnant woman.

According to investigators, Cobb hit the woman in the mouth, grabbed her by the neck and threw her down on the floor.
