DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car on Ladson Road Friday night.
The Dorchester County Coroner's office has identified the pedestrian as Daral Brown of Summerville.
The Coroner says he died of blunt force trauma to the head and body and multiple fractures.
Brown's death has been ruled as accidental.
Troopers say around 8:40 p.m. Friday night, a 2003 Ford Expedition was driving west on Ladson Road, when the vehicle hit Brown after he was illegally in the roadway.
Authorities say no charges are expected to be filed in this case.
