NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston police have arrested a suspect involved in an armed robbery at the North Charleston Subway on Rivers Avenue.
Police say Samuel Warner was arrested Friday night and is being charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during commission of a violent crime.
Warner went through bond court on Saturday morning and is being held on a $300,000.
Police say it happened Friday morning shortly before 9 a.m. at the Subway located at 6072 Rivers Avenue.
An employee told police the suspect entered the store and ordered a sandwich. When the cash register was opened, the suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded money.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a charcoal grey Ford Explorer, and drove west on Rivers Avenue.
No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
