Four families displaced following Goose Creek apartment fire

GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Emergency officials say four families have been displaced following an apartment fire in Goose Creek.

According to the Goose Creek Rural Fire Department, the fire happened at an apartment complex on 100 Swift Boulevard.

Authorities say a grease fire started at a first floor apartment and heavily damaged the unit, but did not spread to others.

Firefighters had it under control within minutes.

Four families were displaced since power was knocked out in their units.
