NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A fire at a home in North Charleston that broke out Tuesday afternoon is under control, firefighters say.
Firefighters saw smoke and flames visible from the single-story home as they arrived on the scene, according to North Charleston Fire spokesperson Bianca Bourbeau.
Shortly after 3 p.m., firefighters brought the fire under control and were working to completely extinguish it, Bourbeau said.
All residents escaped the home without injury.
The fire was reported on the 2,600 block of Delhi Road at about 2:30 p.m., Charleston County dispatchers confirmed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, authorities say.
