AAAA Division 1

Fort Dorchester 31, Summerville 16 (Live 5 Game of Week) - The Patriots (11-2) beat the Green Wave in the playoffs for the first time in four tries, and swept the season series with their main rival. Datron James rushed for 38 carries and 188 yards and two touchdowns, and Tavarious Hartzog returned an interception for a touchdown. Fort Dorchester scored three touchdowns in the span of just over a minute in the third quarter to seal the game. Fort Dorchester will host Hillcrest in the state semifinals; Summerville's season ends at 8-5.

AAAA Division II

Spartanburg 51, Stratford 20 - The Knights (9-4) season ends in the state quarterfinals. Jamison Mobbs ran for two touchdowns in the loss.


AAA

Hartsville 55, Berkeley 0 - The Stags' (8-5) lose big on the road to the 2012 state champions.

AA Division II

Timberland 34, Woodland 14 - The Wolves (13-0) are in the state finals for the first time in three years as they knocked off the Wolverines (8-5) on the road. Ryan Hood threw two touchdowns passes to Drake Campbell, and ran for another score. Timberland is now 5-0 all-time against Woodland. The Wolves will meet Keenan in the state championship game at River Bluff High School in Lexington at 4:30 PM next Friday.

SCISA AA State Finals

Northwood Academy 33, Florence Christian 27 - The Chargers (13-0) completed the first perfect season in program history with a come-from-behind victory over the defending champs. Will Lloyd was 17-30 passing for 343 yards and four touchdowns, and ran for the 13-yard game-winning touchdown with less than a minute left to deliver the school's second state title (first since 2008). Dante Jackson caught 6 passes for 141 yards, including two huge catches on the final drive that covered 83 yards in less than two and a half minutes. Douglas Dwight made three catches for 90 yards and touchdowns. The Eagles, who beat the Chargers twice last season, including their state semifinal match-up, took the lead on an eight and a half minute drive to start the game. It was the first time Northwood Academy trailed since the first quarter of Week 1 this season; the Chargers also trailed 27-18 midway through the fourth quarter before their memorable rally.
