Charleston police say they have arrested a third suspect in connection with the Wednesday night armed robbery of a food delivery driver.

Demetrius Jamick Young, 17, was arrested Thursday and charged with armed robbery.

Police previously arrested Tiquan Washington, 18, and Tre'von Danzell Bennett, 19, who were each charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. Bond was set at $200,000 for Washington, and Bennett was given no bond on the armed robbery charge and $100,000 for the weapon charge.

According to police, the victim was delivering food to a home on 11th Avenue in the Wagner Terrace Neighborhood around 9:45 p.m. when he spotted the man he believed to be the customer.

While walking up to the man, two suspects reportedly grabbed him from behind, one of them struck him in the face, threw him to the ground and robbed him of his money.

Officers say they searched the area of the incident and found Washington and Bennett, who matched the victim's description of the robbery suspects.

The three teens are being held at the Charleston County Detention Center.
