Two new lawsuits filed against Louis "Skip" ReVille

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - A child sex predator who abused dozens of boys in three different counties in the Lowcountry is facing two new lawsuits.

The lawsuits were filed by a 20-year-old man who says Louis "Skip" ReVille molested him as a child.

According to the complaints, Reville was his swim coach.

One lawsuit names The Citadel, the other names The Citadel's president, lawyer, and director of the summer camp where ReVille worked.

Both lawsuits claim Citadel leaders ignored complaints against ReVille, allowing him to keep abusing children.

A lawyer for The Citadel says no one at the school would cover up a child molester, and everyone with the military college wishes there had been a way to stop him sooner.

Both lawsuits are seeking damages, attorneys fees and a jury trial.

ReVille is serving a 50 year prison sentence after pleading guilty in 2012.
