A man taken into custody in Florida on Nov. 19 will be extradited to South Carolina to face robbery and assault charges in Mount Pleasant, police say.
Raheim Bradley, 20, was arrested in Broward County, Fla. after he fled from Mount Pleasant authorities who had charged him with armed robbery, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and malicious injury to property more than $2,000, according to Mount Pleasant Police Inspector Chip Googe.
Mount Pleasant Police, working with the U.S. Marshal Service Charleston Fugitive Task Force, received a tip that Bradley had fled to South Florida, Googe said. Bradley was arrested after leaving an apartment in that area with the help of the Ft. Lauderdale U.S. Marshal Service Fugitive Task Force and is being held at the Broward County Jail where extradition proceedings are underway.
Bradley will be returned to the Charleston area to face the charges against him, Googe said.
