Attempted murder suspect surrenders to investigators

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Authorities say an attempted murder suspect wanted for a shooting in Georgetown County surrendered Thursday night.

Officials with the Georgetown Police Department say Jamie Giles turned himself over to police for a shooting that happened Wednesday night in Andrews.

Giles was wanted on two counts of attempted murder.

According to investigators, Giles is accused of shooting at two people at a mobile home park.

One victim was hit, and is expected to live.
