NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston police say three people were arrested Tuesday after a search warrant uncovered an estimated $8,561 worth of drugs inside a Mixon Avenue home.
A release states officers executed a search warrant at 4804 Mixon Avenue Tuesday as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
Inside the home, police reportedly found 76.21 grams of cocaine, 9.1 grams of cocaine base, and 3 grams of marijuana. Officers say the drugs hold a combined street value of roughly $8,561.
Officers say they also found several Pyrex containers and whisks that all tested positive for cocaine residue.
Police arrested 40-year-old Demetrius Phoenix, 68-year-old David Leroy Wilson, and 61-year-old Bennie Elaine Bryant. All three were charged with trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine base, and manufacturing cocaine base.
The three suspects were transported to the Charleston County Detention Center.
