COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina's top prosecutor is talking about the tools needed to fight human trafficking in South Carolina.
Attorney General Alan Wilson is holding a news conference on Tuesday at the Statehouse in Columbia.
Wilson will be joined by Detective Charlie Benton of the North Charleston Police Department, as well as members of the South Carolina Human Trafficking Task force.
Wilson's office says he plans to talk about the need for new legislative tools for fighting human trafficking. Benton plans to talk about how some of those new measures could make a difference for law officers trying to combat the problem.
