CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Two disabled vehicles that snarled traffic on the Arthur Ravenel Bridge in both directions have been cleared, according to the SCDOT.
At 5:02 p.m., SCDOT had reported a disabled vehicle in the northbound side of the bridge closed the middle lane, while another disabled vehicle closed the right lane on the southbound side. By 5:10 p.m., the northbound lane had been cleared, but it took about another half hour for the southbound lanes to clear.
Traffic was still sluggish in the area from the backup, but speeds appeared to be picking up, according to Live 5 Traffic Tracker.
