WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Williamsburg County schools will operate on a delay Wednesday because of the chance of inclement weather, district officials have confirmed.
The district's students and faculty will report two hours later than normal because of the threat of wintry weather. District staff will report one hour later.
The threat of freezing rain or freezing drizzle extends to the North Carolina/South Carolina border counties, meteorologist Brad Miller said.
The Tri-County area does not appear to be in line to receive freezing precipitation, but the Live 5 Weather team will continue to monitor conditions.
The Marion County School District, Dillon Districts 2 and 4 and Robeson, North Carolina, County schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Wednesday.
