Most Wanted fugitive surrenders after segment airs

Most Wanted: Bernard Fludd

JOHNS ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - A 61-year-old Most Wanted suspect wanted on a charge of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature turned himself in after learning he was featured on Live 5 Most Wanted, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

Detective Alan Ali says Bernard Fludd turned himself in at the Al Cannon Detention Center on January 19. He was identified as a Live 5 Most Wanted fugitive on January 15.

Charleston County deputies say on November 5, 2014, Fludd attacked a woman at the Kangaroo gas station on Main Road on Johns Island after she refused to give him a cigarette.

Deputies say he victim had to have surgery on one of her legs.

Fludd is being held at the detention center on a $25,000 bond.
