BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Officials say a 74-year-old resident of Eutawville was killed Monday afternoon in a wreck in Berkeley County.

South Carolina Highway Patrol officials say a tractor trailer was traveling south on County Line Road in Cross around 2 p.m. when a car pulled out from Addidas Street to make a left turn, resulting in a collision.

The driver of the car, identified by the Berkeley County Coroner's Office as Florence Hall, died at the scene. Coroner Bill Salisbury says Hall as not wearing a seatbelt.

A passenger in the vehicle was flown to MUSC, while the driver of the tractor trailer was transported to Trident Hospital. Both were wearing their seatbelts, according to Salisbury.

According to SCHP officials, no charges will be filed since the driver of the car was found at fault.
