Charleston Police are investigating after a man was shot in the leg early Monday morning on James Island.
Charleston County Consolidated Dispatch tells Live 5 that Charleston Police along with Charleston County deputies were called out to Jordan Street around 4:30 a.m. Monday morning for a report of shots fired.
Charleston Police confirm the victim suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
An officer on the scene told our photographer that police are working to identify a suspect, and K-9 units were being called in to assist with the search.
