MURRELLS INLET, SC (WCSC) - Georgetown County deputies charged two teenagers in connection with an October armed robbery of a Murrells Inlet bank.

Jeffrey Keiton Riggan, 17, or Myrtle Beach; and Barrett Hayes Coker, 17, of Murrells Inlet, each face charges of armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Deputies say that on Oct. 13 at approximately 10:30 a.m., one of the suspects entered the Conway National Bank on the Highway 17 Bypass and demanded money from a bank employee. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident, deputies say.

The investigation led deputies to the two suspects, according to sheriff's spokesperson Carrie Cuthbertson.

Riggan and Coker were being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center.
