Charleston Co. to open warming shelter

The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is opening its work camp facility as a warming shelter on Wednesday night.

The doors will open at 6 p.m., according to Charleston Co. Sheriff's Maj. Eric Watson.

The facility, located at 3841 Leeds Ave., will serve as a warming shelter for those in need of a place to stay warm, Watson said.
