CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The second suspect wanted in connection with the burglary of a West Ashley home in December 2013 turned himself in Monday.
Jarrod Green, 28, of North Charleston, has been charged with burglary second degree. He is being held at the Charleston County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
According to Charleston police, Green, along with 29-year-old James Hilliard, broke into a home on Locksley Drive on December 25, 2013, and made away with electronic equipment and jewelry.
DNA evidence recovered from the scene was submitted to the SLED Forensic Services Laboratory for analysis. On January 12, 2015 DNA from the evidence came up as a match for DNA on file for Green and Hilliard.
Hilliard turned himself in on January 29. He is charged with burglary first degree.
