Wanted: Couple go on Valentine's Day shopping spree using stolen credit card

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Investigators are looking to identify two people who were caught on camera using a stolen credit card to go on a shopping spree on Valentine's Day. 

The Charleston Police Department released pictures of two suspects who authorities say used a stolen Visa credit card at several locations in West Ashley, including Total Wine and More, on Feb. 14.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Charleston Police Department at (843) 720-2487 or Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111. 

A man told police that he noticed some fraudulent charges on his credit card which he believed he lost on Feb. 14 at the Dunkin Donuts on 754 Folly Road or at the rear parking lot of his apartment complex.

The victim said he when he went to check his bank account online he noticed someone used his card to make two purchases totaling more than $400 at Total Wine and More. 

In addition, the victim said his card was used to buy gas at a Shell gas station in West Ashley.
