Colleton County Deputies say they have arrested the suspect who was wanted for shooting at deputies during a high-speed chase.
Grady Calmes was arrested around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, officials with the Colleton County Sheriff's Office say.
Officers say they first responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle on Featherbed Road in Round O on Saturday. Deputies say when they approached the car, the suspect left the scene driving a gray Toyota Rav 4.
The suspect fired several shots at the officers while driving at a high rate of speed, deputies say. The chase ended on Charleston Highway, where the suspect got out of the car and left the scene on foot, deputies say.
No deputies were injured in the incident.
