Investigators arrest teenagers accused of Dollar General armed robbery

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Investigators have arrested two teenagers accused of an armed robbery in Georgetown County.

The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office charged 17-year-old Deandre Dwain Hickman and 17-year-old Juwan Dashawn Jones with armed robbery and two counts of kidnapping.

At 1 a.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the area of the Plantersville General Store on North Fraser Street for a suspicious male.

When deputies arrived, they located two teens matching the description of the suspects involved in a Dollar General armed robbery.

That robbery happened on Thursday night on 8003 North Fraser St. when two suspects, with one brandishing a gun, demanded money from an employee.

The suspects took money and fled behind the store.
