CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Vanna White from "The Wheel of Fortune" game show is back in her native South Carolina to present a check to the Medical University of South Carolina Children's Hospital.
White visits Charleston on Monday to present a check of more than $18,000 to the hospital. The money is being presented after a member of the show's Wheel Watchers Club won a sweepstakes, and the hospital was selected for a matching donation.
White grew up in North Myrtle Beach and has appeared on more than 6,000 "Wheel of Fortune" shows with co-host Pat Sajak.
