BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

You wouldn't think it odd to find a bird nesting in an oak tree. But a disco ball? Or a fast food pioneer?

In this tree, you just may find Baton Rouge Raising Cane's founder Todd Graves and his wife Gwen.

"I wanted a crazy tree house," said Graves, "I wanted a bedroom. I wanted a living room. I wanted a crow's nest, really high. And an Indiana Jones bridge."

It's a ten-year-old's dream come true, courtesy of the television show Treehouse Masters.

The show's host, Pete Nelson, travels the world putting people in touch with their inner tree dweller. He calls graves' treehouse "Swiss Family Robinson meets Acadiana."

Nelson says that he went "crazy" with the backyard attraction. “I've got three different pods. I've got a huge bridge going over to another pod,” says nelson, "you could absolutely live in this, the only thing not in here is a shower."

The house includes a living room, and bedroom and crafts room with running water. Graves' nest sits more than twenty five feet above the ground with a 360 degree view of the LSU lakes.

It took Nelson and his crew two weeks to build the chicken king's coop. Two weeks of no peeking for the Graves family.

"I've been really good about waiting to see it," says Graves, "I'm not even sneaking a peek."

So while you're cruising around the lakes, keep an eye out. You never know who might be living in the trees.
