NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - More than 100 employers from across the state are coming together to provide job opportunities to the men and women who protect our country.
Senator Tim Scott is hosting the event, in partnership, with City of North Charleston, the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center and others, to assist veterans in their transition from active military service to the civilian workplace.
The event is free to all veterans and their families. It will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Charleston Convention Center, Exhibit Hall B, 5000 Coliseum Drive.
Senator Tim Scott will host a second fair in Greenville on March 25.
Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their current resume or a list of work experiences.
