Police investigating fatal auto-pedestrian accident in N. Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department is investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian accident that took the life of a 33-year-old man.

The Charleston County Coroner's Office says Tracy Perry of North Charleston died of blunt head injuries following an accident Sunday morning.

The accident happened shortly before 6 a.m. in the area of Reynolds Avenue and Ottawa Avenue.

According to NCPD officials, the exact cause of the accident remains under investigation, and officers are speaking with a person who may have been involved in the accident.

NCPD spokesman Spencer Pryor said no charges have been filed at this time.
