The 38th Cooper River Bridge Run may only be a couple weeks away, but race organizers are already looking to 2016. If you have an idea for next year's Bridge Run logo, officials want to see it!
The 2016 Cooper River Bridge Run Design Contest is underway, with the submission deadline set for June 30. The winning design will represent the 39th Bridge Run on posters and T-shirts.
Submissions should not exceed 30 x 30 inches, with 20 x 30 inches being the suggested size mounted on foam core. The image will go on T-shirts, so vertical orientation is preferred.
Designers may use the following text within or around the image, though officials may use their own artist for the text design:
- 39TH Annual
- Cooper River Bridge Run
- April 2, 2016
- Charleston, SC
Designs can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the CRBR Store, or shipped to 716 South Shelmore Blvd. #105, Mt. Pleasant 29464.
The winning artist will take home $1,000, 100 posters, and 24 shirts.
The 2015 Cooper River Bridge Run Design Contest winner was Shea Tighe.
