Folly Beach is saying no to offshore drilling.
Mayor Tim Goodwin says the town council unanimously voted tonight to show they're against drilling and seismic blasts off their coast.
Environmental groups say the seismic blasts, which shoot compacted air to the bottom of the ocean to create sounds waves, can hurt marine life.
Folly Beach follows Edisto Island, Beaufort, Port Royal, and the Isle of Palms in their opposition, but the federal government would have the final say.
