CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

A video of a 7-year-old Charleston girl moved to tears following the news of one of her favorite NFL players getting traded Tuesday has gone viral.

Ashley-Ann Woods and her daughter, Lexia, are die-hard New Orleans Saints fans.

When word came down Tuesday afternoon that the Saints' star tight end Jimmy Graham was traded to the Seattle Seahawks, Ashley-Ann was tasked with breaking the disappointing news to Lexia.

Luckily for us, Ashley-Ann caught their talk on video and uploaded it to Facebook. The result: Pure gold.

"Wherever Jimmy Graham goes, I go. No matter what team," a heartbroken Lexia says at the start of the video. "It's just not smart of them to let Jimmy Graham over there."

When asked why it isn't a smart move, Lexia struggles to keep her composure before eventually breaking down.

"I like him and I want him to stay on the Saints," she says, pushing through the tears.

The video has since been shared thousands of times, and picked up by sports websites like ESPN, Bleacher Report, and Sporting News.

On Facebook, Ashley-Ann posted that Saints and Seahawks fans have reached out to her after watching the video to assure Lexia that "Graham will be loved and appreciated" at his new home.

"This if nothing else is a great example for my daughter of sportsmanship," her post states.
