CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The North Charleston POPS! takes the stage of the North Charleston Performing Arts Center to celebrate the melodious wonders of Henry Mancini with its season finale, "Mancini Magic," on Saturday, April 11.Conductor Nick Palmer will lead the POPS! in their performance, accompanied by special guests The POPS! Singers, and The Charleston Performing Arts Dancers. Audiences will be led down memory lane and onto the path of musical history, enchanted by feature songs including "Moon River," "Charade," "The Days of Wine and Roses," "Dear Heart," "Peter Gunn," the television theme from
, "The Pink Panther," and many more.
The North Charleston POPS! will also reveal their 2015-2016 season dates during the concert. Attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to sign up for 2015-2016 season tickets, and to hear a very special announcement about the season.
The North Charleston POPS! have appeared to entertain audiences at the North Charleston Coliseum since their debut on June 26, 2012 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the City of North Charleston. They were performing as backup to the legendary musical group Earth, Wind, and Fire, during their "Guiding Lights" tour. Together they have performed some of the band's biggest hits, including “Boogie Wonderland”, “Shining Star”, “Sing a Song”, “September”, and “Let's Groove."

The lights of national touring Broadway shows have shimmered down on members of the North Charleston POPS! who have appeared in WICKED, MARY POPPINS, CHICAGO and PETER PAN during their runs at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center.

Guests are encouraged to carpool and arrive early, as parking will be limited due to the Stingrays hockey game also taking place at the Coliseum. Parking lots open at 4 p.m. Additional parking and free shuttles will be available at the North Charleston Fire Museum and Tanger Outlets starting at 6 p.m.
