HANAHAN, SC (WCSC) - A Hanahan man was arrested Monday on child pornography charges, according to the South Carolina Attorney General's Office.
Eric Tryome Moore is facing 10 counts involving the sexual exploitation of minors, according to a statement from Attorney General Alan Wilson.
Investigators say Moore was involved in sending child pornography via file sharing.
Wilson said a search warrant was executed at Moore's home on Feb. 27 during which multiple computers and other electronic equipment were taken for forensic examination.
Moore is charged with one count of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor and nine counts of third degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Each count is a felony and punishable by up to 10 years in prison, Attorney General's Office spokesman J. Mark Powell said.
Bond was set at $20,000 and Moore is not allowed to access the internet or and must avoid contact with all children except his own, Powell said.
