CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A fundraiser complete with bowling, local food and brews, and much more will be held this weekend in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Carolina Youth Development Center.
Bowl for Kids' Sake will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Charleston Rifle Club bowling alley, located at 2221 Heriot Street.
Funds raised at the event will go towards helping Big Brothers Big Sisters support one-on-one matches between adult mentors and Lowcountry children facing adversity.
In addition to bowling, Holy City Brewing and Virgil Kaine will be on hand serving adult beverages while Roti Rolls and King Street Cookies handle the food. Complementary sodas will be made available via Pepsi and Cannonborough.
The fun will continue off the lanes with live music and cornhole. There will also be a silent auction and raffle for donated items.
All bowling lanes are sold out, but spectator tickets are still available for $15. The tickets will get you one beer, one cocktail, and one food item.
