GEORGETOWN, SC (WCSC) - A 29-year-old man wanted for a shooting in Georgetown has surrendered to authorities.
Officials with the Georgetown Police Department say Shamron Doiley surrendered to law enforcement Wednesday morning. He was locked up at the Georgetown County Detention Center and is charged with attempted murder.
Authorities have already arrested Anthony Burton in the case. Burton is charged with a count of accessory after the fact of a felony.
Police say Burton was the driver of the vehicle that fled the scene of a shooting on Friday afternoon on Church Street.
Police believe Doiley was the passenger of the vehicle.
According to the department's Facebook page, the victim in the shooting was admitted to Grand Strand Hospital for a single gunshot wound.
