(WTVM) - If you eat Amy's Kitchen frozen meals, listen up - you'll want to double-check your freezer.

The company says 74,000 cases of its frozen foods that include spinach may be contaminated with Listeria. The recall is voluntary for the company, and the potentially contaminated products were distributed to stores nationwide in the United States and in Canada.

So far, no illnesses have been reported and the recall is voluntary. Foods that may be affected include vegetarian lasagna, tofu scrambles and spinach pizza.

Listeria monocytogenes is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.

Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.

Amy's Kitchen produces organic, gluten-free and non-GMO food products.

You can find a full list of the recalled products on the FDA's website by clicking here.
