Deputies release surveillance image in ATM card fraud case

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Charleston County deputies released a surveillance from a credit union's automatic teller machine showing a woman they say withdrew money from someone else's account.

The victim told deputies that since Sept. 29, an unknown person has been withdrawing money from her account at South Carolina Federal Credit Union. 

A total of eight withdrawal from the ATM totaled $1,340, according to an incident report.

The account has since been closed, according to Charleston County Sheriff's Maj. Eric Watson.

Anyone who can identify the person in the attached photo should call the Sheriff's Office at (843) 202-1700 or Det. Dustin Turner at (843) 554-2471.
