Traffic cleared on University Blvd. after multi-vehicle wreck

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Traffic along University Boulevard in North Charleston is back to normal following a multi-vehicle wreck on Wednesday. 

According to motorists, the accident involved an overturned vehicle near Zaxby's on 9141 University Blvd.

Pictures from the scene showed at least one other vehicle damaged in the incident. 

Witnesses say traffic was backed up in the area as crews cleared the scene.

    Activists say they will accept "no more excuses" from lawmakers who fail to pass stricter gun laws. The "NoMoreExcuses" movement was sparked by the Feb. 14 school shooting in Parkland, Florida, in which 17 people died at at Stoneman Douglas High School. The group held a news conference in Summerville Friday afternoon. It called on people to sign up to go with them to Columbia to petition lawmakers to act toughen gun laws in South Carolina.
