WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Utility crews are making repairs to a Bees Ferry Road traffic pole at Grand Oaks Boulevard after a concrete truck crashed into it Friday.

Charleston police closed that section of Bees Ferry Road late Friday afternoon because of wires that had been knocked into the roadway.

Bees Ferry Road was also closed at Proximity Drive, police say.

While crews remained on the scene into the evening, traffic was moving normally once the lanes were reopened, witnesses say.
